Our Open Comb base plate is beautifully crafted and will give your razor a unique look while providing you with an aggressive yet smooth shave.

The Design: The open comb design allows the comb teeth to run below the blade which allows for a much closer and aggressive shave. An open comb, while more aggressive, reduces chances of skin irritation with less passes.
The weight and size of the open comb base plate is balanced perfectly to give you control over your shave.
Material: C954 Bronze is very durable and will patina to a beautiful rustic finish overtime however can ALWAYS be repolished to a clean/bright finish!

Note: Our Base Plates must be matched with Timeless Razor caps as other brands might not fit. The underside of our caps are not polished; tool marks are visible. We keep the underbelly of our caps unpolished to hold a tight tolerance and pinch of the blade to reduce chatter or wiggle.
