I was a bit skeptical about synthetic knots, but the 26mm version has completely won me over. The tips are ridiculously soft against my face while the backbone still gives enough scrub for a solid lather. Feels like it cost way more than it did.

Used this knot in a 24mm size and the backbone is no joke—it lathers hard soaps in seconds, yet the tips feel like velvet on the face. The Japanese fibers hold water way better than my old boar brush. Absolutely worth the money for how plush and stiff it manages to be at once.
